Today's talking point: Busyness! "I will be with you always, even until the end of this age." Matt.28:20

Perhaps the biggest issue for us today is we have over-extended ourselves. Frankly, we are too busy, speeding down the highway of activity and leaving no time for God. We say we love God with all our might, but you couldn't tell it by our lifestyles. When it comes to God, He is way down the list of priorities. I've learned that I have time for whatever is important to me and if we were all honest with ourselves, we would discover that we spend very little time doing the things that really matter. Church life gets put on the shelf for something I want to do. There is no time for the eternal things of life. I have had people tell me that they don't need Church. That is really sad, because what most fail to understand is Christ died for the Church. The most exciting part of our week should be being with Church Family and seeking something new from God. Being to busy for God is an endless pursuit of things that leave us empty, hollow and broken inside. I know life is hectic, but Jesus wants to be with us by having our attention. He doesn't just want to come along for the ride, he wants us to join Him in the ride. Going to Church doesn't make you a Christian. You go to Church because you are a Christian. Are you to busy for God?
