A friend of mine recently snapped  a picture of a quote I have displayed in my office - "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel."  She recently became a step-mom and is struggling with being a mother to young children who aren't her own.  I personally don't know how difficult that is - but I can imagine.  

The quote, however, is true in every part of our lives.  How we say things is so important.  Choose your words carefully, but more importantly, watch the tone in your voice and your body language - it says so much more.
